The "F" Words

Not what you were expecting?  Get your mind out of the gutter and onto the table.  

The three "F's" in my life are...Family, Food and Friends!

Why do we cook?  

I was in the mall recently (everyone needs a little retail therapy) and saw a sign in the Williams Sonoma window front.  It read, "We Cook For Our Friends".  Their recent mailer has the same theme.  The cover reads "Why We Cook" and they list several things; "To Feed Our Family", "For Comfort" and even one that reads "For the Big Game". 

I do enjoy cooking for my friends and on the rare occasion, cooking with them.  My good friend, Pam invited me to cook with her one afternoon.  It was wonderful!  We chatted, chopped, and solved the world's problems.  When the day was done, we had dinner for both of our families and some much needed girlie time to catch up.  Pam is a great cook!
